What is Helping Handmade?

Are you tired of reading book after book and not knowing how to do anything more complicated than a running stitch, sew a straight seam or paint a flat white wall? Do you struggle over directions and wish you had an expert to ask?

• Join a class where you get one-on-one help from teachers.
• Post your work so you can get feedback from both the teacher and the rest of the class.
• We'll give a percentage of every class you take to an environmental cause! If you have a favorite email us!

It's a great way to meet people and to learn skills that make you look like an expert crafter! All of this at your own pace and around a schedule you can live with!

Imagine - no child care necessary!

Helping Handmade is doing this in partnership with Mother Earth! As you learn new crafting and sewing skills, you can use those skills to reuse and remake items that might otherwise be thrown away. Put a fun or pretty embroidered image on a tired tshirt or dress. Remake a pair of earrings, or convert your garage sale finds to something fantastic!
